Video: Importing Files In NVivo 12

WARNING: NVivo looks different on Mac and Windows. Whilst I've tried to make sure that I cover all bases in this online resource - I only have a license for a Windows version of NVivo.

With the help of my community leaders I hope I'll be able to make these modules as accessible as possible for all users, but I might definitely miss the nuances of both versions.

For help, I'd recommend checking out the NVivo forums , or by asking a question on our Facebook group .

For Windows

For Mac

Task: Import Files into NVivo

  1. Import your files into NVivo

Reflection

  • Why might it be important to provide descriptions for your file folders?

  • How might you organise your folders in NVivo?

Create a new folder for "interviews" (a sample of which can be downloaded ) or any data which you would like to import into NVivo
